Rockwood

Traded a Rockwood 2504S Ultra Mini Lite for this because the 2604WS has a bit more living space and a dedicated bedroom. We found that we were leaving the murphy bed down all the time in the 2504S. Plus, the 2604WS has more window area.

2017-Ultra Lite-2604WS-30'

Exterior: I have installed covers for the ceiling vents in both the sleeping and dining areas. I have installed reflective tape on the slide outs and hand rails. I also placed adhesive reflectors on both sets of stairs, the rear bumper and side panels. I have replaced the screen material with 20x20 mesh to prevent no-see-um intrusion when camping in coastal wetland areas. I added a siren mounted on the underside to serve as a scare device or warning. (Bears hate them!)

Interior: I plan on re-working the iRV35 cabling to allow for more versatility in choosing add-on equipment at a later date. I was able to play my electric guitar through the iRV33 system that came with the 2504S, I hope to do more with the iRV35 unit. I will probably install a VIZIO 5.1 home theater system (got one at home and it is AWESOME!) because it is so simple to do with very little wiring.

Renovations and Repairs: I replaced 4 of the standard electrical outlets with outlets that also have USB chargers built into them.

Tow Vehicle: I tow the 2604WS with a 2015 Hot Red Chevy Colorado 6 cyl.

Favorite Camping Destinations: My wife and I enjoy camping along the Gulf Coast, Eastern seaboard, Smokey Mountains, Shenandoah/Blue Ridge, Adirondack mountains and Finger Lakes Region of Central New York. We want to travel into the Black Hills, Wyoming Area and the Southwest. Information and travel tips would be very welcome!
