After we purchased this unit, we took it on its first journey not having even raised it up once. I bought it in the morning, trusting the far easterner seller that everything works, and no leaks. ... not even close. On the way home from vernal Utah we drove through constant onslaught of torrential rain.
Trying to raise it up at home the liftsystem broke, and the unit was basically flooded. Little did I realize that the roof can be a very sneaky storage unit for .... water. Lots of water that won't ever dry up unless the roof is opened up, as in open heart surgery opened up. Here are pictures of the lift system repair.
