Forest Fire on the Kenai Pennisula (2019)

Southbound on Alaska 1 from Anchorage to Homer in June 2019. This smokey stretch of road was near Sterling, AK. There were times I could barely see the trailer in front of me, even though the distance was short and speeds were about 25 mph. Hard to believe but there was road construction going on as well as fire fighters trying to fight the fire. It was hot, and nobody seemed to be wearing respirators.
