I am trying to find out if there are other ACE owners that have had the same electrical issues as myself. I purchased my RV used and had multiple issues with the rig when we would take it out. Multiple times the AC, and microwave would not work.
Eventually (after a lot of investigation) I found that my electrical wiring was burnt where the wires come up into the transfer box under the bed. Wire nuts were completely melted.
My wife and I found an electrician with a 2016 model at a campsite that had the same issue. Was informed that the wiring was not hardwired into the panel, but instead had a wire nut with a pig tail on every single wire coming in, which was creating a ton of resistance. My wife smelled burning plastic on 2 occasions, luckily our rig and bed did not catch on fire. I corrected this issue, but now have recently found out that due to this electrical issue it burnt my generator up.
Again, anyone else had these issues?
Does anyone know of a lawsuit against Thor for this?
