Hi, I am new to this and not sure how to make it work but will try. They call me "wild Bill from Big Lake, Alaska" I have a 2001 Volvo tandem axle, 210" wb, ISX450, that I use to pull a 2002 Kountry Aire by Newmar 42' travel trailer. What a way to travel! The only thing is it gets a bit expensive to buy diesel across Canada to get south to sunshine in the winter. I am thinking about removing the front drive axle so I might get better mileage. Has anyone done that and if so do you have any advise? I am using the truck fifth wheel plate now but would it be eaiser on the trailer to use an air ride plate. I have a trailair fifth wheel pin on the trailer. Also, do you have any advise on pulling a car behind the trailer? I would be about 75' long. Is it hard on the trailer? The Kountry Air is built strong with two 16" I beams down the full lenght of the trailer. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Wild Bill
