Default What do you think of this truck/engine combo?

Is the Cummins L10 (w/1,200lb-ft tq. @ 1,300 rpm, 400hp and a 9 speed Transmission with 540k miles) sound like good engine/trans/truck combo? Its in Peterbilt Model 3x9.

I look forward to your expert opinions!

box was built by C&S Chuck Swenson in Waterton SD give him a call and ask about the truck. I would ask who did the remodel and why? Other than that for the dollar there is now way to replace with a replacement truck and a new box for under $125K.

Chuck did my box for me. He will tell you as much as he knows about that rig.

Thanks for the feedback.

What about the engine/trans combo? Is that a good, reliable, longlife engine? or does it have some expensive, deep dark secrets waiting for me to buy it and get out in the middle of no where to pop up?

looks nice. l10 engine is expensive to over haul. most external engine parts aren't priced to bad.

Pretty small fresh water tank. But it looks like a nice truck.
