Traveling...

Dont see a great place to post this...but would love the opportuntiy to meet folks who subscribe to this forum.

well be north-easternly bound in a few weeks....houston to the northern tip of virginia (front royal), then back to blacksburg/va tech, and down to savannah then own to pensacola and houston.

If any of yall are along the way we would be HAPPY to pull out our cooler and share a beverage w/ ya !

Don, That's a great idea. It would be great to maintain a thread that folks could post their travel plans if they wanted to meet others that share the Truck conversion interest. I am way out of the way for your trip, but our front yard would always be open to anyone that decides to make a pilgrimage way out to the Northwest. Park for the afternoon, a night or a week, and we will throw a chunk of meat on the BBQ for you.

I have been down to Oregon and met Kenn to check out his project, and looking forward to meeting Volvoman when i go through his area in May while we are back visiting factories. This site is full of great folks. Have a great trip.

If you want to go a tad farther north we will be in Carlisle, PA from 4/23-4/29 for the Carlisle Spring Swap Meet & car corral. If you're into old cars, that's the place to be. Spaces IA13-IA22. The cooler is always full of Yuengling lager.

Maybe we can make this a sticky and treat it like the "hdt members on the road" thread over on Escapees? Then when somebody is on the go they can update us so others might be able to get together. Or offer up a parking spot at their place for a traveler? I think "Traveling" is a good subject topic for us. Should work. Sounds like a great trip too, but you could swing north to MN ya know.
