Talking Michigan Member, New Hauler 06' Volvo

After seeing a friend with a hauler, I decided to pick one up for hauling my stuff.... Although his is a bit beefier than mine.

Just made perfect sense, still have to jump through some registration and insurance hoops but should be all good.

I really don't have any plans besides a deep clean and go through and polish up everything... including those foggy headlights.

I drove it up to Michigan from New Mexico at 60-62 MPH and averaged 13.5 MPG.

Its soooo much fun driving and so enjoyable, I really am looking forward to learning and making some goodies work for this beast.

Thanks for such a great research rich forum!

Looks great. Congratulations. Are you going to pull a 5th wheel camper? Lot's of HDT info over at the Escapee's forum too: HDT - Escapees Discussion Forum

We'll need to be seeing some pictures of it hooked up to something too. For sure you've got to come to the HDT Rally too.

I don't have an RV just yet... But I was looking at them last night.

I have a car hauler and plan on hauling my 4X4 truck and Rat Rod around to events and car shows.

Yesterday I cruised around and will go top off the tanks tonight, diesel looks like it is going up here... Sooo much fun to drive!~
