Actually, that's what the car looked like when I bought it. Previous owner was a little off. I brought it back from the awfuleness to where it should be:

thanks Bob, your toys look great, as long as your having FUN it doesn't matter how big or bad a** your toys are!!
I got in touch with Lippert industries today and spoke with their slide guy, he tells me he can hook me up with a "great deal" on a complete slide mechanism... have to email some measurements and pics to their man. Anyone with feedback on there products would be greatly appreciated.

How's the build going Pete? No updates lately. You should get it ready before the HDT rally in October. Bring it to Kansas and get the award for the hugest coolest HDT there is.

Hello Everyone !!!! I'm back at it and anxious to get work done. I'll post some pics of the latest progress, got sealed bearing threshold rollers that I fabbed out of bearings I picked up at a salvage depot here in town installed, floor pan of slide completed. Took a break with Mom fighting the big C, she's hanging in there.... but life happens.

Default Hello

Hi Guys I'm trying to find time...and it's getting harder and harder, but today was a good day in Phoenix, beautiful weather and about ten hours of work into the project which is probably more than I've had in the last six months!! I got my slide room framed out I'm hoping tomorrow (Holiday) I'll get the siding back on, I'm using the existing wall that I cut out and welding it onto the wall room slide frame so it will look right when it's done, rivet lines lining up etc. I'm in need of an adhesive if anyone can steer me, need to cement the aluminum skin to metal tubing if someone could advise I would appreciate it. Man I miss working on this thing, but priorities are what they are and I had my left knee scoped out in early Dec. it was killing me, up the ladder down the ladder you guys get the picture, kneeling to weld etc. after all day today and no problems I'm raring to go !!!!

Great news! Glad you're finding some time to work on it. I had a seam come apart a bit on my siding. I used Sikaflex adhesive to fix it. I can't remember what number, they have a bunch of different formulas. I heard that they make a good product for what you want tho. I think all my siding is glued to my framing since there are no rivits on mine. Maybe check out the Sikaflex site and see which formula seems best. I had to order mine from a place and one tube was like $15 plus about $12 shipping. Not cheap that's for sure. Sika Corporation | United States

Hi Bob and thanks for the information I will check it out, I have already purchased a case of Manus Bond for my windows at Geofkaye's (?) suggestions a few months ago, have yet to use it but he recommened it for my window and door seals and to avoid silicone. Hope all is well with you and family.
