Hi All,

Dows anyone have experience with the removal of aero sleepers?

The trucks that I like so far are Volvos and most have aero sleepers integrated to the cab.

Close examination seems to indicate that the original cab is metal up to a little above the rain gutter. From there, it seems to have the fibergalss sleeper (and roof) adhered to it. The rear panel of the sleeper looks to be the original off of a standard cab that is again bonded into the back of the sleeper.

It would seem to me that with a salvaged roof section, you could recreate an original cab with a little standard body work.

Am I way off base here?

Bo
