Mercedes LP 813

Thanks! ;)

My actual engine has 350 000 kilometers, this one only 250 000.

When I'll swap the cab, I'll put the "newer" engine and gearbox in it, just checking the clutch mechanism to be sure it is OK.

What nice is on this second truck is that it has everything still on it, and as some parts are really a PITA to find nowadays, I'll have enough parts for a long while...

Hi all,

it's been a long while since I wrote down **** here. :D

Truck improved little by little.

Bathroom almost finished, I built two doors under the **** hole, to cover the metal dustbin, I also built two hinged covers above the sawdust receptacle and the **** hole, to allow the definitive removal of the plastic curtain when getting under the shower.

What yet has to be done is a little closet to put some shampoo/soap/toothbrush, and paint the floor.

the kitchen corner also has had it's definitive lighting, same operation as in the bathroom, indirect lighting on the ceiling with a led ribbon.

I either decided it was time to crack my wallet, throw out that old worn out camping-gaz burner, to put a more modern two burners unit.

As it was raining those last days, no envy to meet the elements on my motorcycle to go work on my truck, as I have some kind of brains (well, sort of...), I did some drawings about my project.

Knowing my truck has for now a day cab, which limits me to three people on board while travelling.

Knowing I have two spare cabs and one spare frame.

I think, with the time coming, that I'll stretch the existing frame and wheelbase, and stretch the cab, as on the following drawings and the hereby picture of a dutch truck with the cab & added sleeper.

I should then be able to transport five people in the cab, driver included
