Default Installin Fiberglass siding w/ Sikaflex 252

Does anybody have experience with Sikaflex 252 and putting on fiberglass sides?

Our plan is to clamp a long length of angle iron to the chassis as a ledge on which to perch the sheet of siding. We have hard rubber rollers to roll it in contact with the adhesive on the framework. Does the Sikaflex have enough adhesive sick that other than clamping around the edges we'll be okay or do we need some other elaborate way of spanning the sheets with 2x6's and wedges or something? I feel this sort of thing would lead to ripples in the surface do to point pressure.

Default sikaflex 252

What type of fiberglass siding are you using? If they are large sheets make sure you have enough extra hands to get all of the clamping done before the sikaflex starts to cure. I decided to use 3M tape because my sides are one piece and just under 25' and very heave (2.2 lbs per sqft). If you use the 2 x 6 and wedge method it can takes some time. Good luck.
