Pay no attention to those in doubt-- the SS band looks GOOD!
Patrick-
Just saw the pix of your truck before and after the stretch-and-paint. Makes me think to go ahead and get a condo-sleeper tractor, since they are practically a plague upon the land, and good daycabs are rare. If you don't mind me asking, about what did it cost to saw off the sleeper behind the cab and plug it off(temporarily, I'm sure, until the conversion is done)? I like the idea of the room to stand up in the cab, and a condo allows that.

I'm unsure of the cost. The plug off is not temporary, that is .063 aluminum. They will cut the pass through in that wall and add a boot later. Call Angie at www.hickoryinclosed.com and she can fill you in on prices.
