Default Casa Azul: 2014 Pre-Baja Modifications

As you guys well know... The "perfect rig" is an ellusive beast! So over the years I have come to the realization that Casa Azul will NEVER be completed and will ALWAYS be a work in progress.
The way I work on her has kind of fallen into a pattern where I start doing the mods to her about 3 months before our annual trip down into the Baja outback. And, no matter how much I plan, and/or throw money at "it"... I am always wrenching past the midnight before pre-dawn departure.

Here are a photos of a few of the new modifications:

I built a new battery rack that now holds 2 motor batteries, 6 home batteries, 3 gallons of emergency motor oil, & 5 gallons of emergency diesel. I also added a diesel powered heater.

I made pair of saddle boxes that are flush with the bottom of the frame rails. the right one can take 2 of the cargo tubs that we use in the truck for storage. The left box houses the 6 gallon h20 heater (analog), the water pump, and one cargo box. both have chock storage.

I fab'd in slide-out stainless steel hammock stanchions and wired in dimmable LED lighting for the awning.

Gotta love it. Even Prevost doesn't come with a hammock.

I appreciate it, it has been a long road getting it all together. I will be installing hammock hangers like yours.
