Default New Pix for Old Posts

Is there any way I can add pictures (manage attachments) for older posts? I think they would make a lot more sense there rather than in the photo gallery where they are hard to find and out of context. It doesn't give me the edit option. It's like it doesn't recognize those older posts as belonging to me.

Once a post is made after yours (or a certain amount of time has elapsed) the EDIT function disappears. It's to avoid posters from going back and completely changing the context. It's common on many forums. It can be disabled by a mod or admin. I have this feature disabled on my forum since it's such a tight community, it would probably work fine here too.

Rob, If you can allow me to edit my old posts in the "Stealth Camper Build Thread" then I will add pictures. If not, don't worry about it.

Thanks,

R.D.

I apologize RD, I did not intend to mislead you. I'm a newbie here and I have zero control. I run a local forum for car enthusiasts and I was just explaining the system. It will take a Moderator or Administrator to make the necessary changes.

I do feel that updating old posts with pictures or fixing old dead links is very helpful.

Another option to you is just making a follow up post in your thread with all the pics in a row (with or without a description).

Good luck.
