Default New guy from Michigan

Just wanted to say hello to all and to say I'm very glad I found this forum.
I am 66 year old guy from mid Michigan.
I just purchased a 2002 Ford e450sd 7.3 diesel with a 16ft box.
I just brought my truck home this week and I'm going to start on the build and work slowly on it this winter.
I guess I'm lucky most of what I'll be doing is on YouTube because I don't know how to do any of this myself.
If anyone is from Michigan and doing a truck conversion to camper and applying for a new RV title could you please give me a shout and tell me some of the rules I haven't been able to find out anything.

welcome to the fray.
A friend of mine has a 2004 or 2005 Quiqley (4x4) E350 (6.0L).

He's added a 25+ gallon water tank (and pump), no water heater...and the van has a rear wall (for cargo/storage) where he keeps an electric cooler....w/ the van you can add xtra batteries on the Frame rail and put some solar on the roof.

Welcome to the forum. Can't help with MI rules, but I would get this resolved before doing too much work or money invested. One way that can save some money is buy a wrecked trailer and use a lot of the RV type parts from that.
