whats the 3m tape they use for putting on the aluminum skins? it was something like vhm or something wasnt it?

Be very careful with the application process. An extremely clean surface and an adhesion promoter almost guarantees success. You can't take shortcuts.

Find another way to adhere the skins. The tape does not work over the long run. For that matter, the tape doesn't even last a year. Your skins will be popping here, there and everywhere. Doesn't anybody question what happens when the skins expand and contract with temperature changes? When they expand and are fastened at the top and bottom, what direction is the skin going to go? It's going to go out and buckle because it's being held securely at the top and the bottom with trim pieces. It eventually pops loose from the tape. I know because after 4 years, I've been there. Do you really need the pictures because I have them.
