I know this isnt a conversion question, I will have some of those soon!

I have a 96 chevy suburban. It came stock with 245/75/16 tires I am about to put new ones on and was thinking of upgrading to 265/75/16, simply because the stock ones look tiny. Would this significantly lower my gas milage or power? Thanks guys.

Firmani99, I have a 96 Tahoe and have run LT265/70/16 BFG TA KO for almost 70k miles. I just put another set on yesterday. They are supposedly as big as you can get without any rub problems (including tight turns, big bumps, etc). They aren't cheap, but they are well worth it. My truck has 174k on her and I still driver her everyday. She is a snow monster!
