Default Slide out construction

Hey everyone. I am very curious about how the slide outs are constructed. What do i need to make one. How much stress does it put on the rest of the truck. Stuff like that.

Mine is made by Liftco: Welcome to Liftco, Inc. - Liftco - RV Beds, Flush Floor Systems, RV Folding Beds, Glide Outs, Manual Roller Slideouts, RV Beds, Stabilizing Systems, and more!

I think it would not make sense to try to make one yourself. I think you can buy the unit from them and put it in your application.
