There are often hard lessons to be learned in analyzing these tragic accidents. Many on this forum appreciate the strength and safety potential of a truck conversion. These collisions reveal the tremendous forces in going from 65 mph to zero in seconds.

I found this
description with pictures and video on the sister forum IRV2.com noting an Ohio accident where a semi truck crosses the median and blows apart a pick-up truck camper. The toothpick remnants of the camper are strewn about the scene.

The camper driver died at the scene and the trucker was hospitalized in serious condition.

There but for the Grace of God . . . .
