I'm thinking about building a motorhome out of a volvo semi, but, if i do that (as opposed to pulling a fifth wheel), i'll have to bring my car with me when i take it somewhere (i'll be living in it full time).

So, it's an 86 volvo 245, that means it's old and rear wheel drive. Is it that bad to pull it 4 on the ground without disconnecting the driveshaft, with a simple tow-bar?

or should i just build the truck to pull a fifth wheel instead? O_o
