Over head Light
The plastic around one of the ceiling light broke off going down the road.
So I got the idea I can fix this and Lowes had the parts.

Looks good. I'd use a bit of locktight on that center hardware so it doesn't loosen up and fall off.

That looks great! I've been shopping for an upgrade/update to ours. Is that fixture glass?

Yes, it looks like it was for a ceiling fan.

I find plain old clear rtv silicone works best to keep things from vibrating apart. You can use it like loctite, or if you have expose threads on the end of a bolt just put a glob on the threads after assembly. Since it is so rubbery it takes up vibration nicely, yet unscrews easily when you put a wrench on the nut. Plus for me I always seem to make a mess with runny loctite, and one less thing in the toolbox.
