Skip:...you have indicated that a tag trailer and a tractor are under condideration for your project.....that's where I'm going for just one of the reasons you suggest-worse comes to worst-I can detach from my tractor and continue on my way with the trailer and a rental truck.....ALSO my insurance company will cover the [some] charges if I'm involved in a accident with damage to the truck only.....which means I can limp home in the trailer behind a u-haul.....the tractor is another issue.....and a real expensive issue when it comes to towing as my own wrecker maxes out at 7500# towing[wheel lift stinger] and 15,000# on the roll-off deck....guess I'd have to do some serious "horse tradin'"..OY!...geof
