Default john deere chassis conversion

Hi i have a 1990 34' fleetwood southwind mh on a john deere chassis with a 460 engine. Long story short mh is rotted but drivetrain has less than 20,000 miles we have tore it down to the frame and thought about putting a truck cab on it and building a ramp truck to haul our toys on. My question is has anyone attempted this before and if so what cab would work best i am a profficent welder so simple mods are no problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated

This might be a good candidate for a vintage truck cab. Or......If the rail spacing is typical of big trucks (34" I think) then a semi cab might fit well.
