I have found a truck that fits my needs and is a good deal, however it is a new (08) conversion on a 95 chassis. Im haveing an issue getting approved based on the year of the truck. DO any of you know a good way around this? Any help would be great!

Thank you

Might you have to have it appraised by an independent appraiser?

Wouldn't the title now be issued as a 2008 _____ motorhome?

I pulled values of renagade and united specialites conversions from NADA the were simelier and then pulled cab and chassis of the same kinds of trucks from truck paper and gave them to the bank and thay had no issues.... three days later i had my truck. should have done that with the first 3 banks i went to...lol

Good luck, do you have a truck you looking at already?

Don't have one specific rig picked out yet, but have contacts with 3 different dealers and a few from racingjunk. We need to get on the road south to take a few drives. Been way to busy here to get away.

Thanx for the info, I'm sure it'll come in handy.

Good work on the financials. Did you have any problem with insurance? I sent a bunch of pictures of mine to my agent and he got back to me later that day with a cost. State Farm. Mine is a stock United Specialties tho so I don't know if that made any difference.

No I didnt have any issues with insurance at all. I have Allstate. I cant wait to get out on a road trip with it. I will be heading to North Dakota in a few weeks to pick up 2 cars, leaveing from St. Louis so that should be a great break in trip.

Cool. If you come through the twin cities (Mpls./St. Paul) you should stop and visit me. You can park in front and plug in for an overnight if you want. Blizznd lives near Fargo too. Look him up if you are that way.
