$200k is a lot of money to have been scammed for.

Could you summarize how this happened to you and how he's doing it?

Looking back I was not the brightest bulb in the room!

All of the custom coach manufactures I spoke with required large deposits " Plus " the cost of the chassis. I was purchasing a unit of "Road Master" quality. Boy was that a line!

When I made a visit to his shop I was shown several conversions in different stages of production. What I did not know is most of those customers were going to get a half completed coach!

It is my hope the other customers who were lured into this scam, report this con artist to the local police! Or maybe by speaking out, this may save another conversion customer the time and money I wasted with Mr. Moody!

After reading this forum, I contacted Kaufman County and they've never even heard of this guy, Teddy Moody. I tried to find who posted this but was unable, sounds like a bunch of slander. I contacted Teddy and asked him why he had a name change and he simply told me he incorporated and the Transporters Unlimited was an existing corporation and he had to choose a different name, therefore Factory Motorhomes was born. I personally, John Scott, went to the plant, inspected his products, left a deposit, and four months later picked up my coach. I was so pleased with it, I told two of my friends, who now also own coaches with trailers. I don't know what this person's (that made this post) problem is but I never felt like anyone was going to "scam" me out of my money. I'd refer him to anyone.
