We have an opportunity to purchase another house in a location that we have always wanted and this means postponing my retirement and the purchase of a new RV. It doesn't make sense to keep the Volvo for another 2 years and not use it to tow an RV.

Last time I checked. The painter was whinning about delamination on Volvos.....seems they have trouble making the paint stick to the origional surfaces.....why-I don't know....just something the painter told me.....It's what Carl does for a living for more than 20 years so I guess he is straight with me....He has painted some of my trucks bere and I have no reqrets....geof

Price Reduced!!

It is going to cost me about $2,000 for insurance and taxes while we wait to continue our RV adventures. So I am reducing the price to $29,900.

I just had some scuff marks professionally painted and I waxed the truck. It sure looks nice. I also recently had the oil and filters changed, and the truck was lubed. While in the shop for this service, a few minor items were fixed. All this was done at an authorized Volvo dealer and the truck was given a clean bill of health. There will be no unpleasant surprises for a new owner.

That's good news, bad news. Hope your plans work out for you -- who knows, you may be back in business in a few years with a 2004 model tractor.

Hope the new owner hops on this board.
