I sometimes close the bedroom door and curtain behind the cab and only run the dash air for MrsBob86ZZ4 and I. If there are others on board we leave the curtain open and see if the dash air provides enough cooling. Again, keeping the bedroom door closed. If people are uncomfortable we fire up the generator and the roof air. Again, keeping the bedroom door closed. If somebody wants the bedroom cool we turn on that roof a/c also. I don't think these generators use all that much fuel. And it's actually probably better to use them than not. You're still going to use less fuel than most of the diesel pushers running down the road.
