coach side power connections have a BLADE (or male) plug on them, campgrounds have FEMALE outlets (just like all your outlets at home).
RV/Coach extension cords have male & female connections on them.
some RV manufactures install a twist & lock (imo it seems to mostly be travel trailers or 5th wheels)...ive not seen any coaches w/ twist & locks on them except where the owner installed them.
I have generators (portable) that have Female connectors on them of both the twist & lock and blade type....
UTILITY SUPPLY sources (generators, wall outlets & campground pedestals) ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS have female connections (to minimize the sock hazard)
