Anthony,

I really hope your conversion is lighter then 80,000lbs. but I do not talk about GVW (Gross Vehicle Weight).

I ask it as simple as I can now :

1. how much is your front axle weight rating ? the number should be somewhere in your doorframe. My Pete 379 says 12000 lbs front axle.

2.how much weight was on that front axle ready to go out camping? It should be a number somewhat smaller then answer 1. .... else you have a problem with overloading the axle and/or tires and that would be a design problem.
