.....you can tow forward or backward with a stinger lift....I've towed from Cincinnati to Atlanta with a stinger lift with a Toyota backward.....at 70mph...... you really don't know it's there with a stinger....have to tie the steering wheel down good or you will see the side of the towed car in a different lane than you are in.....[but what the heck-It ain't your car!{joke}]......A lot of new class 8 truck wreckers 120k use a stinger on the front axel....much safer if you have to lock'em up hard -rig stays straight in a panic stop......geof kaye
