most newer trucks have air driers on them. they should be rebuilt or buy exchange unit every year or two years depending on style. some have spin on filters that can be replaced. they say to drain air tanks every day used. i don't think you would get much water unless real humid. tanks are mounted under cab or on frame rails. will have 2 or 3 tanks at at least. some tanks have automatic ejectors for draining but they don't work vary well. they plug up and freeze in cold weather. all air dryers have heaters on them that i know about. most are on all the time but some trucks have switches on dash to control.
